CONGREGATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

THE EARLY RISERS’ BREAKFASTS for men and boys will continue this Wednesday and every Wednesday during Lent from 6:00 sharp till 7:00 sharp. This week’s speaker is Ron James. From his childhood in Chicago and his traveling rock band days, God has transformed Ron into a beautiful follower of Jesus. He now serves God at Antioch Christian Center in Grand Haven. He will be sharing his testimony of how the death and resurrection of Jesus has changed his life. Come share a delicious hot breakfast and good fellowship with other guys. If you have not already signed up, please sign up this Sunday at the table in either narthex.

OUR PRAYER ROOM WILL BE OPEN EVERY WEDNESDAY DURING LENT from 6:00 AM until 8:00 pm for your personal use for prayer or meditation. The front door of the church will be open during those hours. A variety of inviting prayer stations have been set up for you.

MEN’S RETREAT: May 21 to 23. More details will follow as details are “firmed up.”

2nd Best Sale News: At our Women's Ministries Board meeting on Thursday evening February 11, 2010 it was decided that we will not be having a spring 2nd Best Sale. Please disregard the announcement in the communicator last week. We will be looking at other new ideas on how to bring new life into the Women's Ministries here at Hager Park Church.

FAITH AND PHYSICS – You, your friends and neighbors are invited to participate in a journey led by Rodger Price that will stretch and expand your understanding of our world and the universe through which we travel. Come and explore about what faith is, and about the amazing and bizarre things that have been discovered over the past 100 years regarding our physical world. Though faith and science often appear to be at odds with each other, you will discover how these two areas actually overlap.

This three-part series continues this week in the Sanctuary. The sessions are scheduled from 6:30PM-8:30PM.

Women's Ministries

Bus Trip to Birch Run!!

There is a signup sheet by the Women's Ministries bulletin board for the bus trip to Birch Run scheduled for Saturday, April 24.

The cost will be $20 and we will need a minimum of 40 women to go to keep the cost @$20. The bus can have up to 47 passengers.

Please sign up by February 28 if you plan on attending, money will be due by March 14. This will be a great time to get together with girlfriends and enjoy a day of games, conversation and shopping.
